Position Summary

Light Mechanical Maintenance Tech will be responsible for the oversight of our company Mechanical work on fleet vehicles and service our equipment.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities

  • Light Mechanical work
  • Oversee Fleet Vehicle Maintenance & Repairs
  • Oversee Equipment Maintenance & Repairs
  • Remain proactive on ensuring vehicles are safe to be on the road

Experience Requirements

  • Must have mechanical experience
  • Experience on a forklift (a plus)
  • Experience using a rollback (a plus)
  • Experience hauling a trailer with equipment (a plus)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • The physical demands for this position are moderate. Must be able to use standard office equipment such as telephone, computer, cell phone, printer etc. Must be able to use equipment such as lifts, forklifts, ladders, etc. Must be able to lift and carry items up to 51 lbs. on a regular basis.

Additional Considerations

Working Conditions: This position works in the Warehouse where temperatures can be extreme at times. There is a controlled office climate within a portion of the warehouse. Mental Requirements: Self-motivated and able to handle rapidly changing priorities and several tasks simultaneously. Must be able to respond to difficult situations with customers and co-workers with high level of professionalism. Must be able to communicate effectively with vendors and co-workers. Must be able to always follow safety guidelines. Must have ability to manage and lead effectively. Internal Relationships: Communicates and interacts with employees on all level in the office. Sets an example for employees in the company. Keeping information organized and relaying it to upper management in a timely manner will help keep position efficient. External Relationships: The title will have some level of contact with customers and vendors and will be required to always maintain professional communication and appearance during work hours.
